PROJECTS

LIONS

Wynter has been working hand in hand with the Global White Lion Protection Trust since 2003. Her close collaboration has lead to the creation of the HEART Pride in support of the Global White Lion Protection Trust. AnimalTalk Africa Trust builds on that relationship to assist in raising awareness of the plight of Lions in South Africa, to investigate unethical
situations that come to our attention and to assist in finding positive solutions and real transformation for a new way forward.

ELEPHANTS

In 2019 Wynter first became involved in assisting Elephants. This has lead her on a journey working with specialist organisations in their endeavours to free captive Elephants, either from zoos or the tourism industry in South Africa. There is often a need to work behind the scenes in high profile cases, because of the sensitivity of IIC work. AnimalTalk Africa is now actively engaging with organisations to assist with relocations for captive Elephants to places of freedom and rehabilitation. We commit funds, time and expertise for the positive outcome of each project.

BABOONS

In 2005 Wynter became actively involved in the management of Baboons on the Cape Peninsula through working with Baboon Matters Trust. 20 years later, the issues are compounded by the increase in urban sprawl into natural baboon habitats.
Animaltalk Africa Trust is working closely with community organisations who are dedicated to assisting harmonious coexistance between humans and baboons on the urban edges in South Africa. Wynter is specifically faciliating workshops and talks around South Africa to assist in finding HEART based solutions for humans and baboons and to cocreate harmonious coexistence.

LAND

Animaltalk Africa Trust’s “home” is in Wilderness, a small village in the Garden Route of South Africa. We are passionate about keeping the “wild” in Wilderness. Right now this means protecting land so that the huge upsurge in development of this beautiful coastline can be slowed down, to give Nature a chance to breathe.

One of our big focuses is to work with South African National Parks in their conservation easement projects and encourage neighbours to become part of the buffer zone between urban development and the Garden Route National Park.

We identify key pieces of land which could assist in creating corridors for wildlife.

Our aim is to either purchase these properties or work with current owners to transform their properties into safe spaces for wildlife movement.

OCEANS

Collaborating with Academics and Intuitive Interspecies Communicators globally, Wynter has been working on a research project for Ocean Transformation, led by Dr Lynne Shannon, Principal Researcher, Marine Sustainability Lab, University of Cape Town. AnimalTalk Africa Trust supports this work wherever needed.

NATURE’S COUNCIL

Together with other Intuitive Interspecies Communicators Wynter is establishing a council where Human People can consult with Nature to find practical, HEART based solutions for any environmental, conservation or wildlife  issues they are working with. AnimalTalk Africa Trust supports this with funding, administration and expertise.
